Hi there! Thank you for stopping by my site. First a little about me and then I'd like to hear from you if you have any questions about my services or qualifications after browsing my site. Nearly four years ago I decided that my "perfect job" would be to have my own business doing what I love to do. Supporting others in an adminstrative capacity and doing everything I could possibly do to help them succeed. Everything I had been doing for several years while working as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant and Sales/Marketing Assistant was being done via email, fax, phone and the internet. The only thing I was physically needed in the office for was to file papers or prepare a meeting room for a luncheon. Even my bosses emailed me from the next room to request a task of me! Voila! An idea was born! So the next time I had a free evening and the kids were fed and in bed for the night, I started to look around the internet to see what I could find on "at home secretary", "administrative assistant from home", etc. and I found out that there were others that had already discovered and were implementing these ideas and the term that kept coming up was "Virtual Assistant". On one hand I was dissapointed that I hadn't thought of it on my own and "invented" the idea but on the other hand I was thrilled to find that there were so many supportive and helpful VAs willing to help a newbie break into this wonderful new arena. I soon learned that Virtual Assistants are a unique group. We strive to give our clients the best and will work together to find the right solution to a client's need. You only have to ask the question and the VA support team is there. For the next two years I continued to work full time outside of the home while starting my Virtual Assistant business on a part-time basis. As any business owner knows, it takes time to put a business plan together and transition through start-up. Then a double edged sword hit my life. The company I was with began to feel the full impact of a very tough economy and I was on the list of cuts. Though very disapointed to be thrown into the world of the unemployed, it was then that I had to decide...sink or swim with my VA business. I told myself SWIM and don't look back! I still haven't looked back and have continued to grow my business into the success it is today. I've been so very blessed to have had some of the finest clients in the world call me their Virtual Assistant. I've learned so much over the years and strive to continue to learn new ways of doing things that will have a positive impact on my clients. Most of all, I feel such a reward in knowing that I've given a client a few extra hours a month to do what THEY do best!! Warmly, Lynne
